Earlier today we also brought you the I pad 2 news that the higher-definition display that has been speculated, is more likely to come to the iPad 3 rather than the iPad 2. Here’s one that almost is too easy to believe. The original iPad had a 27 on the calendar app and was presented on January 27th. The new iPad has a 9 so one would think that Apple’s presentation will be on February 10th.
The internet loves Apple and it loves ill-founded speculation, so it's hardly surprising that iPad 2 rumours were flying before the first iPad even reached the UK. With only weeks to go before its expected unveiling the iPad 2 release date, specs and price are still closely guarded secrets, but that doesn't mean there aren't some juicy rumours, inspired guesses and possibly even Apple leaks to consider. There has been some speculation on whether the new iPad will have a higher definition display. Some evidence points to the possibility that the iPad 2 will have a new display with twice the pixel density of the current iPad, while others question if such as large, high-resolution display can be manufactured in the quantity and at the price point needed for Apple’s large production needs. Apple has sold over 15 million iPads to date and analysts predict that they will be able to sell 30 million iPads this year. A new iPad will certainly boost sales but Apple is also aggressively expanding iPad sales channels and increasing the number of countries where the iPad is sold.
